Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza (born June 26 April 1984) is a performer, comedian who is famous for her ability to express her wit in a humorous way. She plays April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show her character began her web-based series debut after doing sketch comedy and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. The show continued to grow with her appearances on Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim and vs. World. Happy birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and finance Specialist David Plaza. The father of her is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish as well as English. Plaza attended an Catholic girls school from 2002 until 2006 and then went to the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was the president of her student government at the high school, and participated in Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior year. In 2004, while at the end of her second year in college, Plaza was struck by a stroke, which resulted in her being diagnosed with expressive aphasia and a period of paralysis. The patient is now fully recovered. Plaza started doing comedy and sketch at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. Also, she's performed stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza was a part of E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show with Ben Schwartz and also the debut Terrible Decisions episode. In CollegeHumor's Troopers, she was the Princess, a satirical sci-fi character. Plaza was first seen as a saxophonist with the band Cassorla's Bona Fide. She made her debut in The Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. In HarmonQuest in the year 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee as a grinning gnome. She was Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. And Cat Adams on Season 11, of C.B.S. TV series Criminal Minds. It was her first time returning for the character in the 12th season of Criminal Minds. The following year, it was announced that Plaza will be appearing in the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
