Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. She was best known as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting when she was in Preparatory School. The late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student at Northwestern University. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to attempting TV and movie role. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. Anna continued to be an actor in handful of TV shows and films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn was also on stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last decades that were the life of Walter White.
